2010-2019 was a fantastic time for independent music and for Pop Garden Radio I am happy to announce our Top Ten Songs of the Decade
#10 Vegas With Randolph - A Lesser Fool (with Maxi Dunn) I had no idea that this track was happening, so when I first heard it I was really blown away. Having Maxi Dunn sing with them was a brilliant idea for Vegas With Randolph and a perfect choice or this song.
#9 Ken Simpson - Feelng So Much Better There is something great about the chorus that I have always loved. It's such a cool arrangement. This is the type of song that you'll listen to over and over before moving on to the next track.
#8 Identical Suns - After the Lullaby I challenge you to listen to this song and not tear up. It's simply beautiful. The vocal arrangement is wonderful.
#7 Irene Pena - Pieces of You This is one of the songs that I would frequently get telephone calls about. It's a great pop song from top to bottom and Irene Pena's voice is outstanding.
#6 Rob Bonfiglio - Spread This Feeling Rob Bonfiglio is one of my favorite vocalists ever. This particular song has everything that an 'Adam' song needs: a killer opening riff, layers of vocals, a sudden stop and a rockin' guitar solo.
#5 Cindi & Stefano - Play Cool Cindi & Stefano have been part of the Pop Garden Radio family since 2006. Their unique vocal blend and catchy lyrics are always a hit with me and this song is no exception. I still crank this song when I play it.
#4 Gretchen's Wheel - Invisible Thief While I wouldn't claim to know what exactly what the invisible thief is in this track, I can relate to it in so many ways. That opening riff sticks with you too
#3 Popdudes - High An incredibly catchy original from Popdudes that is both playful and naughty. This track frequently makes my travel disc as it's just a great upbeat song.
#2 Snuzz - All the Difference The only song in the Top Ten that is from 2019 This song is perfect in every way. A great rock tune with a message.
#1 Emitt Rhodes - Someone Else From the first moment that I heard this song, it meant something to me. Each repeated listen it is still as fresh and moving as it was the first time that I heard it. I feel like this is a song that everyone can relate to.
